Chase Bank Demolition - latest update

Demolition to resume in December - complete by February
Wednesday, December 6, 2017

We've been informed about updated plans for the remainder of the Chase Bank building at The Ridge (also known as Shops at the Ridge).  TRC plans to restart demolition around December 11-13, and have it completed by the end of February 2018.

Demolition will be conducted by a licensed demolition contractor under a specific health and safety plan and a demolition permit issued by the City of Oakland and in full compliance with regulations, and overseen by the Bay Area Regional Air Quality Management District and the environmental consultant TetraTech.  Measures will be in place to assure the safety of both workers and the public and to minimize dust, noise, and other impacts during the demolition.

You may notice some workers wearing personal protective gear. There will be some truck traffic to haul off debris, and flaggers will be present to ensure the safety of traffic vehicles, bicyclists, and pedestrians.

If you have questions regarding demolition activity, you can contact the contractor: Bill Torres at Silverado at btorres@silveradocontractors.com.
