It’s Rockridge Community Planning Council (RCPC) election season again. We have fourteen candidates who have stepped up to run for six open spots on the board — so we’ve got a race on our hands!
The Annual Membership Meeting of the Rockridge Community Planning Council (RCPC), with the sole agenda item being the election for Board of Directors, will be held on Thursday, April 18, between 7pm and 9pm in the lobby of the Rockridge Branch Library, 5366 College Ave. The election will continue on Saturday, April 20, between 1 and 4pm outside the Rockridge Library.
Candidate statements are available online, and the April 18 th Candidates’ Forum video will be posted (See link for candidate statements.)
Voting is only allowed in person. Voters must show proof of identity and residence within the RCPC boundaries to receive a ballot (a map of the boundaries is available here),
The candidates’ forum will be held OVER ZOOM ONLY on April 10th, 7-8 pm where candidates can provide short statements and respond to questions. The proceedings will be recorded and posted to the RCPC YouTube (bit.ly/RCPCYouTube) afterwards to the same channel for those who cannot attend the Zoom session.
