College Avenue set for repaving very soon

For years, Oakland has been promising to repave College Avenue - and to incorporate design changes identified as part of the City's settlement with Caltrans over the Caldecott Tunnel Fourth Bore Project.  That promise appears about to bear fruit.  According to Council Member Dan Kalb, the City's transportation department, OakDOT, is planning to begin resurfacing College Avenue within the next few weeks.  

RCPC Annual Meeting and April Town Hall - Rockridge Transportation Projects

On April 19th, 2018, RCPC held its annual meeting and April Town Hall at the Rockridge Branch Library.  A total of twenty-nine Rockridge residents signed in for the election, above the minimum quorum requirement of twenty-five.  An additional eight Rockridge residents voted on Saturday at a polling place in front of the library.  At the meeting, the five candidates for the Board of Directors: Ashley Cruz, M.C.

RCPC Town Hall - Reuse/Redevelopment of California College of Art Campus

At the Rockridge Library meeting room - An updated presentation of plans for reuse/redevelopment of the California College of Art's Oakland campus on the East side of Broadway just north of Shops at the Ridge.  The proposal includes  almost six-hundred units of housing, including a nineteen-story tower.

The April RCPC Town Hall Meeting doubles as RCPC's annual meeting and election of Board of Directors members.  This year, there are five candidates running for six seats on the Board.  At the meeting, each candidate will give a short statement about themself and why they are running, followed by questions from the audience.
