The Annual Membership Meeting of the Rockridge Community Planning Council (RCPC), with the election for Board of Directors, will be held on Thursday, April 21, between 7pm and 9pm in the back parking lot of the Rockridge Branch Library, 5366 College Ave. There are nine declared candidates for six open Board seats. (See link for candidate statements.)
Voting is only allowed in person. (There will be polling tables outside the building.) Assuming a quorum of 25 members is physically present on the 21st, balloting will continue on Saturday, April 23 from 1-4pm outside the library (signs will point to voting location).
Meeting attendees on April 21 must wear masks. Voters must show proof of identity and residence within the RCPC boundaries to receive a ballot (a map of the boundaries is available here),
The candidates’ forum will be held OVER ZOOM ONLY on April 18th, 7-8 pm (note date and time change from the Rockridge News announcement) where candidates can provide short statements and respond to audience questions. The proceedings will be live streamed via YouTube (bit.ly/RCPCYouTube) and be posted afterwards to the same channel for those who cannot attend the live session. Those persons unable to attend on April 18 can submit questions electronically to elections@rockridge.org.
